The JoBros‘ Disney Channel series, JONAS L.A., was recently nominated for its first Emmy, and Nick, Joe, and Kevin said they are “super excited!”
In an interview, Joe also added, “There’s a lot of Disney in there, so I think we’re gonna have some friendly competition going on there. Me and [Wizards of Waverly Place star] David Henrie, we’ve been talking to each other and kind of making fun of each other here and there about the Emmy thing. But whoever wins, it’ll be cool for us to be honored‚ That is amazing in general.”
“I’m really excited for fans to hear pretty much all the songs. A lot of the songs are really fun and they’re dance songs, but there’s also songs that are kind of emotional,” says Demi. As for her personal favorites: “‘It’s Not Too Late,’ I really enjoyed singing it. I loved performing it. And also ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing’ is a song that’s really fun to perform because I really get to showcase my voice.”
Camp Rock 2 premieres on the Disney Channel on September 3rd.
The actress wrote: “Cut my hair off a few days ago… Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever.”
According to Jake T. Austin, the new season of Wizards of Waverly Place is getting interesting! Jake says his character Max has a new love interest on the way.
“I think my character has a love interest coming up. I think a new girl. Someone new to the game,” says Jake. “I definitely want a new girl, with raw talent, that would be cool. Well, I’d love Bar Rafaeli or Adriana Lima but I mean that’s shooting for the stars.”
Hannah Montana star Emily Osment is quitting acting to take on the music world, but she says she still loves to act!
“They’re extremely different and they’re two different types of creativity and expressing yourself,” says Emily. “With a show, obviously there’s a role and there’s a character and there’s a lot of homework behind it. And out there [on stage], whatever, no homework for me. I’m just going to go out there and have fun.” As for acting, the actress says that it’s “rough sometimes but I love it more than anything.”
Who knows? Maybe we’ll see Emily back on our TVs sooner than we think!
Unlike her BFF Selena Gomez, who has admitted herself that she’s “pretty boring for a teenager,”Demi Lovato likes to keep things exciting! The Sonny With a Chance star says she likes to be spontaneous, particularly when she’s on the go.
“[I try to] make it a little bit more exciting when I go into a city rather than just go into a city, go into the hotel, playing a show, get back on the bus. So I like to do things that’ll change it up,” says Demi. “In LA I stay home and spend a lot of time with my family. I go to Pinkberry, and I just kind of get excited doing my own thing.”
Selena Gomez has been busy lately, and her love life reflects it! The Disney sweetie recently said that she hasn’t been on a date for over six months and doesn’t feel the need to. She also shared her outlook on love.
“Unfortunately, I haven’t been on a date in over six months,” said Selena. “The truth is I haven’t met anyone, but I’m young. I don’t need to have a boyfriend right now.”
As for relationships herself, Sel said that “Any crush or relationship is always a big ordeal. To get that one boy to like you and then he doesn’t feels like the end of the world. I figure that you will have about 1,000 dates until you get to your perfect guy. What happens in-between will be filled with challenge and tears.”
Add this to the list of things you didn’t know about Zac Efron: he grew up next door to a haunted house! The High School Musical star was raised in Arroyo Grande, California, and says he and his friends once went into the creepy house.
“When I was growing up, the house next door was haunted nobody would go inside,” he said. “One time me and my friends went in‚ We had to hike through a field of tall grass to get to the front porch. There was a smashed window in the back, so we went inside and looked around. We went up to the attic and heard a bunch of noises. We were like, ‘What is that?’ Then all of a sudden bats just flew out at us‚ we were scared and ran away. I’m pretty sure the place is haunted.”
The first single from Taylor Swift‘s upcoming album, Speak Now, recently leaked. It’s been two years since the release of her second album, Fearless, but “Mine” boasts more mature lyrics.
The track starts with Taylor’s usual detail: “You were in college, working part-time, waiting tables/Left a small town and never looked back.” She later describes herself in the song as “a flight risk with a fear of falling.”
