Target collaborated with Missoni in September 2011 to release a designer collection that customers went into a frenzy for! The line was supposed to last for six weeks but the store sold out before the end of the day and crashed the online website.
Hopefully Jason’s line will last long enough for some of us to get a look at it! If you are eager to nab some of his collection, you’d better hit the stores early on Sunday while everyone else is gearing up for the Superbowl!
Check out the gallery below to see some of Jason Wu’s designs for Target.
For those of you that aren’t big football fans, and find yourself in need of something else to occupy your weekend while the Superbowl is on, you should definitely try out this awesome nail art!
We absolutely fell head over heels in love with this look at first sight! The bad news – it isn’t the fastest way to paint your nails. The good news – it actually looks a lot harder to pull off than it really is.
Here’s a step by step tutorial of how to do the cupcake nails pictured here:
1. Paint your nails pink as a base coat for your design (Let your nails dry a little in between each step).
2. Use your white brush to draw a thick line across the tip of your nail. Add three dots underneath the line to create the wavy shape.
3. To create the white stripe, either dip a toothpick into your white paint or use a white nail art pen – draw the stripe across your nail.
4. For the cherry on top, use a red nail polish to dot the center tip of your nail. If you’re feeling really ambitious, you can glue the mini-rhinestones on to your nail instead (make sure you use a nail glue, and not super glue!).
5. Either use a blue (or alternate color of your choice!) nail-pen or dip a toothpick into your polish to add the three dots to the white frosting.
Watch this video for another way to do cupcake nails – you will feel much more prepared to tackle this task after watching someone else do it!
1. Every three days one finalist will get eliminated until we reach the Top 3.
2. For each elimination round you will have 3 votes to use. Vote for your favorites during each round to keep them in the running.
3. Sweety High and BeBop Clothing will select one of the Top 3 finalists as the final winner. If your Sweety wins, you will automatically share the Heart Prize with others who voted for the same Sweety!
We would like to thank all Sweetys who submitted their videos and shared their amazing talent. Congratulations and good luck to all of you! We are crossing our fingers for each of you!
Sweetys! Don’t forget to vote for your favorites every week so they can make it to the top!!
Go behind the scenes of Selena Gomez’s Spring 2012 Collection photo shoot for her Dream Out Loud clothing line by Kmart.
In the video, you can get a first look at the collection which includes blue, green and yellow tones.
Selena says that she wanted the line to embody clothing that her fans would wear.
She describes her fans as being independent and individual, and she wanted her line to capture those qualities.
She encourages her fans to dress in what makes them feel good and confident – not in what other people pressure you to wear.
Selena’s favorite piece from the collection is the flare jeans – she describes them as standing out from today’s trend of skinny jeans and she likes the flashback look to the 70’s style.
Last night the SAG (Screen Actor’s Guild) Awards aired on television and the fashion couldn’t have been more glamorous!
All the big stars turned up to walk the red carpet and watch the big winners.
Taking home the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series was Modern Family!
Ty Burrell (Phil Dunphy), Julie Bowen (Claire Dunphy), and Sophia Vergara (Gloria Pritchett) were also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series.
Ariel Winter, who plays Alex Dunphy, hit the red carpet looking all grown-up (just after her 14th birthday on Saturday!) in a knee length strapless dress. Ariel paired the gown with matching pointy pumps and long wavy locks.
What do you think of Ariel’s look? Does she look grown-up and glamorous? Or do you prefer her down-to-earth Alex Dunphy look?
Zendaya wore a plain white T-shirt with a big black lace bow covering her left shoulder. The bow’s ribbons trailed down her left side to about belly-button level.
She paired the tee with leapord print trousers that flared out at the hips and hugged her calfs (a.k.a. skinny jeans style).
Her feet were decked out in a bold red peep-toe wedges with a soft velvet appearance.
Zendaya paired the whole look with a neat up-do and alternating gold and silver nails.
