DIY Halloween Costume Of the Day- Halloween!

It’s Halloween already! If you don’t have a costume picked out, it’s not too late! Here’s a last-minute panda costume!

Start with your cutest black-and-white dress. It’ll match even if it’s not in a traditional panda print! Top it with a fuzzy panda cap, and your look is almost complete!

Just pair the look with some knee-high black boots and black gloves. If you have white puff paint, you can paint paw prints on the insides! You’re ready to go out and show your panda pride!

DIY Halloween Costume Of the Day- Day # 6!

Today’s last-minute costume is SUPER easy to put together- if you’re a tea drinker that is! If you’re an unrepentant Anglophile and love all things Britain, this bag of tea costume might just be your bag!

Start with the underclothes. I picked a plain black pair of leggings and a long-sleeved shirt, but you can decide on whatever you’d like.

The important part is finding an over-sized white pillowcase that will cover your body! With the open-side down, cut out a hole in the top of the pillowcase for your head, and on the sides for your arms. You’re nearly done!

Next, get your favorite tea that comes in a little paper box, and cut off the front of the box with a logo on it. Get a length a twine and tape, glue, or tie your tea tag on the end of it, and stick the other end to the top of your pillow case.

You’ll look ready to brew in no time!

DIY Halloween Costume Of the Day- Day #5!

Halloween is in just TWO days, but if you’re like millions of girls out there, you STILL don’t have a Halloween costume ready! No fear, because I’ll be suggesting easy-to-do costumes every day up until Halloween. You should have no trouble finding this stuff in your wardrobe and around the house!

Today’s look is the oldie-but-goodie farmer costume, with a modern and funky twist! Start with a pair of hip overall shorts, and wear it over your cutest button-up plaid.

That’s most of the outfit already! Don some cute brown, western-style booties, and of course a straw hat to make you look like the real thing!

Last but not least, see if your parents have any real garden implements you can tote around, and to hold all of your candy during trick-or-treating, carry around a pail topped with your favorite stuffed farm animal!

DIY Halloween Costume of the Day- Day #4!

Halloween’s closing in, and you STILL haven’t threw together your costume? Lucky for you, I’ve been suggesting a way cute DIY costume every day. Today, I’ll show you how to compile a girly take on the legendary Sherlock Holmes!

This is the perfect costume for a chilly Halloween night! Start with your favorite girly trench coat, and wear some dark leggings or skinny jeans. Feminine brogues will add to the classic vibe of your outfit, but if you don’t have any, some black flats will work just as well!

Wear a cute plaid or dark-colored poncho over the coat for extra warmth and to look extra Sherlockian! The deerstalker cap really completes the look, but if you don’t have one, any brown cap will do just fine.

Last but not least, carry around a magnifying glass, and inspect everything inside. You’ll look like an ace detective for sure!

DIY Halloween Costume Of the Day- Day #4!

It’s Tracey again, with yet another Do It Yourself Halloween costume idea! Today, I’ll explain how to put together a modern take on Little Red Riding Hood!

I’m replacing the traditional flowing hood with a cute red zip-up hoodie you might already have around the house! Wear it over a cute red and white gingham dress, leave it unzipped, and put on your hood to make the look!

Pair the look with some stylish red flats (or heels if you don’t mind walking around in them all night!) and a picnic basket, filled to the brim on one side. You can use the other side to store all of your Halloween candy!

DIY Halloween Costume Of the Day, Day 3!

It’s Tracey again, bringing you yet another DIY Halloween costume! Today, it’s something super simple that doesn’t require you to go out and buy anything- a vampire version of yourself!

Start with the outfit. What do you want to wear? Have some cute clothes you bought recently but haven’t had a chance to show off? A prom dress that you’ll never wear again? Just want to don your everyday apparel? It’s up to you!

Here’s where it gets interesting- makeup! Take a very light shade of powder and evenly cover your face and hands or legs if they’re exposed! You’re looking paler already! Accentuate the light skin with deep red lipstick and dramatic smokey eyes. If you have colored contacts, even better!

Last but not least, you need to put the vampire bites! Use a combination of red and black  makeup to make it look extra gross!

And that’s it! Let me know if you have any questions, and leave your comments below, Sweetys!

DIY Halloween Costumes with Tracey- Day 2!

I’m back with another super simple Halloween idea! Today, I’m showing you how to throw together a really cute witch costume!

Start with your cutest little black dress. If you have another fab dress in a dark color, you could wear that! Pair the dress with your funkiest striped stockings to spice the look up, and don’t forget to wear your pointiest pair of heels or flats so you can look super chic, yet super spooky!

Find a broom around the house to be your witch’s broom. It doesn’t have to be as witchy as the broom shown here. In fact, the less traditional your broom is, the more personality your outfit will have!

And of course, don’t forget to top off your outfit with an adorable pointed witch’s hat. If you have to buy one piece for this costume, the hat is the best investment!

If you’d like, you can throw on some green makeup and a wart or two. I happen to think some dramatic eye makeup and deep red lipstick complete the look best!

DIY Halloween Costumes with Tracey!

Halloween is just around the corner, so I thought I’d share some cute Halloween costume ideas!

Halloween is in just 9 days… can you believe it? If it snuck up on you like it did with me, you’ll need to throw a costume together fast! That’s why this costume idea, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, consists of stuff that I have around the house already!

Start with the iconic blue gingham dress! If you don’t have one, any blue dress should do as long as you get the rest of the outfit down!

For shoes, you MUST go with red glitter. I have these red glitter Toms, but if you don’t have them, you can do DIY glitter shoes!

You’ll need a pair of red shoes, some tacky glue or hodge podge, a sponge brush, LOTS of red glitter, and a big bowl and spoon. First, fill the bowl with the glitter. Then brush the glue all over the shoe (don’t worry, it’ll dry clear!). Next, hold the shoe over the bowl of glitter and spoon the glitter onto the shoe (all of the excess should fall back into the bowl). The glitter should stick to the glue. You’ll have glitter shoes in no time!

Next, braid your hair into two pig tails and tie with blue ribbon. Then all you need is your picnic basket with your favorite stuffed animal to play Toto, and you’re good to go!

Let me know what you think of the costume in the comments below, and don’t be afraid to ask me any questions!
