Nintendo has announced plans for a 3D gaming console to replace the DS. This new device won’t require you to wear any ugly eyeglasses to see in 3D. Trippy, right?
It should debut sometime before April of 2011, and we’ll have a closer look at the “3DS” (working title) in mid-June. As already avid fans of the DS series (and pretty much anything Nintendo, let’s be honest!) we are stoked to be hearing about a 3D device. Imagine your Littlest Pet Shop pets prancing around in all three dimensions. Whoa.

Miley Cyrus’ latest project The Last Song has finally debuted on the silver screen. The story, written by popular novelist Nicholas Sparks, centers on Ronnie Miller, a seventeen-year-old girl who finds love and tragedy in the same summer.
According to his website, Nicholas Sparks actually wrote the screenplay before the novel, all the while with Miley in mind. The collaboration between them is apparent throughout the movie. All of Miley’s lines sound just like her, and you can’t help becoming wrapped up in the story. Of course it helps that Miley and her costar, Liam Hemsworth, are totally into each other and dating in real life.
The best thing learned from the movie? Baby turtles might be the cutest thing on the planet. Oh, and a word of caution: bring a handful, if not an entire box, of tissues. It’s a tearjerker.
What did you think of Miley and Liam Hemsworth in The Last Song? Are they the next Romeo and Juliet?

Kristen Stewart is hugely popular for her role as Bella Swan in the “Twilight” series, but that definitely wasn’t the case in her younger years. Kristen said she felt out of place among her age group and used movies as an excuse to leave school.
“I couldn’t relate to kids my own age,” says Kristen. “They are mean and don’t give you any chance.”
Classmates of the “Twilight” star didn’t even cut her some slack after she left to do movies. Instead, they used it as another reason to criticize her. Kristen explains, “I was never the type of girl to be walking around talking about acting, so in the beginning I didn’t get hassle, until someone realised.”
Poor Kristen! It’s clear that she’s a little awkward, but I think acting has helped her loosen up and show her personality some more. What do you think?
