Despite earlier reports that ‘iCarly‘ had been renewed for yet another season, the word is now out that ‘iCarly’ will in fact not be returning to Nickelodeon.
Miranda Cosgrove will as planned go to USC this fall, while Jennette McCurdy will be starring in her own Nickelodeon series.
We will miss ‘iCarly’ but are so happy to see the stars moving forward in their lives!
Big news about Miranda Cosgrove‘s Nickelodeon show ‘iCarly‘ – the show is getting renewed for a 7th season!!
Although the cast has publicly stated for the last two seasons that each would be their last, the show is afterall getting renewed once more.
We can only hope this trend continues on long enough to get a few more good years out of it!
Both cast members Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor are getting their own shows on Nickelodeon next season, so how they will balance doing ‘iCarly’ simultaneously will surely be a big challenge.
