Have you ever loved a book series so much, that you have plastered the walls with it’s characters? Well, Cathy Ward, age 49, took her love for Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series a step further. The Twihard tattooed her entire back with images from the popular franchise. Cathy’s love goes beyond Team Edward though, she claims that the series has changed her life.
“A friend of mine got me the first film on DVD because I was feeling low…Once I started I just couldn’t stop myself. I had to go out and buy all the books and films. I got hooked. It became my way of rewarding myself. I wanted a permanent reminder of the amazing series so I got a small tattoo and that turned into what I have got now.”
Since Wards first meeting with all-things-Twi she has dropped 14 dress sizes, and claims that she’s never had ‘so much fun’ in her life.
“I watch the films or listen to the soundtracks as I exercise. It has worked miracles.”
Between dating her Abduction co-star, Taylor Lautner, and landing her self on best-dressed lists, Lily Collins has found herself with quite the busy schedule, and it’s about to get even busier. It has been announced that the Blind Sind Starlet has been cast as Clary Fray in “City of Bones”, the first book of Cassandra Clare’s series, “The Mortal Instruments”.
The film follows 15-year-old Clary who witnesses a murder, only to unearth the secrets of a tribe of people called the ‘Shadowhunters’ who track and murder demons.
You can catch Lily next in the upcoming vampire-action film “Priest” (which coincidentally has the same director as “City of Bones”), and starring alongside her on and off-screen boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, in Abduction.

To us, Taylor Lautner seems like the kinda guy guy who wouldn’t have to go out of his way to make a friend, or a fan for that matter, but it turns out there is one guy that Taylor needs to impress- Phil Collins! Yep, the lead singer of Genesis is his girlfriend‘s dad, but never fear for Taylor apparently hit it off with Lily’s rock star dad on their first meeting.
A source close to the two said, “Taylor was nervous about meeting him, but they got along well.”
Yikes…looks like Taylor got off easy, but we couldn’t be happier for the two- thank goodness her dad rocks!

Taylor Swift seems to have it all together. She’s gorgeous, talented, and has been seen with some of the cutest boys in Hollywood. We’ve experienced all of her love wins and losses through listening to her songs. In the past two crazy years, Taylor believes she’s learned a lot about love:
“I used to think there were all these rules for making people like you. Like, the best way to get a guy to like you would be to actively ignore him. I was filled with advice! I’d tell my friends things like, ‘Don’t accept that apology! That isn’t sincere! Or He hung out with his ex-girlfriend? Get rid of him.’ But love is never that simple. Now I’m finally getting the idea it’s the one thing I don’t need to have a strategy for.”
Taylor’s songs remind us of her former relationships. What else reminds her of past loves? Certain smells. “Different smells bring different relationships to mind for me…I’d put on Abercrombie 8 to remember when I was in ninth grade and had my first boyfriend, because he gave me that”
Certain scents can also bring painful memories. “Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is still a difficult one for me to smell…Maybe [a new] guy will replace my bad memories of the cologne with good ones. In a perfect world.”
Bluewater Comics is set to release another celeb-centered “Fame” comic book, and this time it’s going to feature the entire Twi-Trio.
Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson have all been immortalized on the pages of the comic individually, but with fans anxiously awaiting Breaking Dawn it only seems natural that the three join forces.
The issue will feature in depth looks at the the cast’ rise to stardom, a biography of the Twilight Saga’s author, Stephenie Meyer, and the sold out copies of their individual comics.
The special issue, titled “Fame: The Cast of Twilight”, will be released on December 1st, but you can pre-order on Amazon now.
Here at Sweety High, we believe that there are two fundamental types of people in this world: members of Team Edward, and members of Team Jacob.
Selena Gomez happens to be a huge Twilight fan, and recently told Top of the Pops mag, “When I watched the first Twilight film, I definitely liked Edward. Do I think Robert Pattinson is hot? I think Edward, his character, is. I can’t help being Team Edward! But Taylor is great in the movies, too… He’s super-talented!”
We always saw Selena as more of a Team Jacob girl, but it’s ok- either way we are Team Twilight!
Taylor Swift was absolutely stunning during her performance at the 2010 Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee last night. Swift crooned “Back to December” (just as we expected), while fake snow fell from the ceiling on a foggy stage.
Taylor spoke with MTV earlier about the importance of Back to December: “I’ve never felt the need to apologize in a song before. But in the last two years I’ve experienced a lot, [including] a lot of different kinds of learning lessons and sometimes you learn a lesson too late and at that point you need to apologize because you were careless.”
Taylor Swift, your favorite country star, is rumored to be performing “Back To December” live at the CMA’s tomorrow evening. The song is featured on her hit album Speak Now, and is said to be written about her famous ex, Taylor Lautner. A source who claims to have witnessed her sound check called the performance ‘emotional’.
“She rehearsed last night and sounded great! It’s a very emotional performance — just her sitting at the piano, strings playing. It’ll definitely be a ‘moment’ in the show.”
Despite what seems to be a definite confirmation, a rep for the musician avoided giving MTV News a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer, and settled with a simple apology.
“Sorry, but we never announce performances ahead of time.”
Hmmm, looks like we will have to wait until tomorrow night to find out. The awards show airs live on ABC at 8/7c.
