The campaign aims to raise money and awareness to kids in the U.S. who face hunger every day of their lives.
Tori Kelly wrote a new song called “Fill A Heart” to support the campaign. It will be available to download from iTunes next month!
Amber Riley and Cody Simpson also recorded versions of the song, which will be available March 1.
“Everyone wants to get involved,” Braun told Billboard. “We are a country with the means to provide for all our citizens — 17 million [hungry] kids is an unacceptable number. We have a lot more work to do, but I love the idea that as many as 3 million meals are going to come out of this.”
Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards nominees have just been announced but we’re already buzzing to see who will win in each category! Josh Duhamel will host the show on March 23.
Have any guesses as to who will nab the orange blimps? Here are our predictions for the music categories!
Favorite Music Group
Hands down, our prediction for the winner of this award goes to pop phenomenon One Direction! In the last couple of years, the boys have taken the world by storm, and their fan base is full of loving and dedicated Directioners. We think they have the upper hand against contenders Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi, and Maroon 5.
Favorite Male Singer
Justin Bieber really deserves this title, especially after the release of his latest album, “Believe Acoustic,” which has blown away Beliebers and non-Beliebers alike. He’s proven his maturity and talent in the past few years, which we think will help him win against nominees Bruno Mars, Blake Shelton, and Usher
Favorite Female Singer
With the flurry of hitsTaylor Swift has been putting out in the past year, it’s hard not to see her as the winner in the category. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Begin Again,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and the upcoming single “22“ all coming off her latest album, she’s a pop powerhouse to be sure. That’s not to say that the other gals on the list, Adele, Katy Perry and P!nk, aren’t all massively talented in their own right. We just think Taylor has it this year!
Favorite Song
What a tough choice! The nominations went to Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” PSY‘s “Gangnam Style,” Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” and all of those songs were personal favorites this year! Still, the song that will probably have the most lasting power, and that I think will take home the blimp, is “What Makes You Beautiful!”
This was a tough call, but we think Ed Sheeran‘s touching and tragic song “The A Team” has the beautiful melody and emotional power to bring it the title of Song Of the Year. Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe” is a close second…
Best New Artist
Ever since our interview with Hunter Hayes, we’ve been obsessed! His talent and charisma have convinced us that he WILL grab the Best New Artist award this year!
Best Pop Solo Performance
There’s no way Carly Rae Jepsen’s preposterously catchy “Call Me Maybe” isn’t nabbing a Grammy this Sunday. We think it’ll take home the title of Best Pop Solo Performance!
Best Country Solo Performance
This second nomination for Hunter has led to a second prediction he’ll win! The piano powerhouse “Wanted” is a shoe-in for the title of Best Country Solo Performance!
Best Country Group Performance
Let the games begin! Taylor Swift & The Civil Wars’ haunting tune, “Safe and Sound“ was perfect in The Hunger Games, and we think it’s perfect in the category of Best Country Group Performance, too!
Best Country Album
We promise this is the last award we think Hunter Hayes will win this Grammy season! His self-titled album is undeniably beautiful, and the fact Hunter played 30 instruments on it impresses us beyond belief!
PSY, Rihanna, One Direction, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Bruno Mars were among the winners of this year’s NRJ Music Awards, which take place every January in Cannes, France!
The biggest winner of the night was PSY, bringing home the International Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year awards for his breakaway hit, “Gangnam Style!” He also received the NRJ award of honor!
Other familiar artists included Carly Rae Jepsen, who was awarded with International Breakthrough Of the Year, and Rihanna, who won the award for International Female Artist Of the Year!
Bruno Mars took home the title of International Male Artist of the Year, and my personal favorites, One Direction were dubbed as the International Group Of the Year!
Unhappy with the number of pop stars appearing on your TV screens? That number is about to get a bit larger with Carly Rae Jepsen and Cher Lloyd slated to make special guest appearances on two of your favorite shows!
And if you’re a big Cher Lloyd fan, don’t miss her special guest appearance on Nickelodeon‘s Big Time Rush! She’s also playing herself in the episode, which is set to premiere this spring!
Which guest appearance are you most looking forward to?
Talent manager Scooter Braun, probably best known for discovering pop superstar Justin Bieber, has just signed a new talent, and it’s none other than Glee star Amber Riley!
Amber revealed her new manager in a recent interview. Maybe she’ll do future collaborations with Cody Simpson, PSY, and Carly Rae Jepsen, who are also signed with Braun!
“Just saw the Grammy nominations,” Ariana Tweeted. “Disappointed that Justin wasn’t nominated. Frank Ocean must win everything.”
Scooter Braun also took to Twitter, leaving a series of Tweets remarking on how he thought the committee had dropped the ball.
“[T]here wont be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE. The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one,” Braun left in a first Tweet.
He went on to say that Justin delivered in the transition into a more adult realm of music.
“[S]o to all those nominated…you do deserve it. You worked hard and u earned it. Just feel like so did JB,” Braun wrote.
Do you agree? Should Justin deserve a nomination? Tell me in the comments below!

Nicki Minaj was also a big winner, with her album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” winning Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop album and Nicki herself winning “Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist!”
There were big surprises at the AMAs, too. One Direction were nominated for New Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop/Rock Group, and Favorite Pop/Rock Album for “Up All Night,” but didn’t take home any awards.
Instead, following Justin’s win for Favorite Pop/Rock album, Carly Rae Jepsen won the New Artist of the Year award, and Maroon 5 were voted the Favorite Pop/Rock Group.
