Jemi Reunite for the Cover of Teen Vogue

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato are no longer a couple, but they appear in the July issue of Teen Vogue together! The Camp Rock 2 duo snagged the cover and talked about how they first became a couple.

“I had always fancied him. Want to know what actually happened? One night I asked him, ‘What is the deal? We’re perfect for each other. What are you doing?’ And he was like, ‘This is really awkward. I have to go,’ says Demi. And I thought, Great, I just ruined a friendship. But then the next day, he came knocking at my door.”

Sounds like a sweet moment between two of our favorite Disney stars!

Joe Jonas is a Real Charmer

Joe Jonas seems to be getting over his breakup with Demi Lovato just fine! The Disney star was reported to have recently spotted a cute blonde girl at a basketball game in L.A., and sent over a hot dog and a soda for her. The girl responded by giving Joe her number via the waiter!

According to the source, “The girl was totally surprised to find out her snack was courtesy of Joe Jonas. I hope [the waiter] got tipped well for playing matchmaker!”

…We will have to wait and see if Joe’s smooth moves pay off.

What do you think about Joe's move? Are you still on team Demi?

Join The Surge and Do Something With Demi

Demi Lovato has teamed up with Clean & Clear and DoSOMETHING.org for the Join The Surge Program to encourage teens to volunteer and do something for their community.

The organization lists a wide variety of things that teens can do to get involved- everything from volunteering at a local shelter to disaster relief. The site even offers grants to fund projects.

Needless to say, this an amazing project and all of our good thoughts are with them.

Cambio: The Much Needed “Change” for AOL

The Highly Speculated Cambio is launching live to the web tomorrow. AOL. MGX, and the people behind the Jonas Group have come together to build a media site that is said to be a much needed supplement to the “waning influence” of creative outlets that kids once looked to for entertainment.

“We were acutely aware, early on, that things were suffering [in traditional media]” Kevin Jonas Sr. said,“Having the ability to reach your audience yourself — and the ability for the artists and entertainment company to interact directly with brands — was the future.”

Up until this point, the people behind Cambio have been quite elusive as to what the actual site plans were, and it should be interesting to see behind the velvet ropes. What’s been promised thus far is original web content with Teen Superstars such as the Jonas Brothers.  There will be a daily web show called “Cambio Connect” with Quddus Philippe, a former MTV host, set to be the face.

After its’ separation from Time Warner last year, AOL has taken a turn for the somewhat-worse, and they are crossing their fingers that Cambio is the change they’ve been waiting for.

Jemi is No More!

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have broken up. Yikes! Sounds like a sticky situation since Demi is set to tour with the Jonas Brothers this summer to promote Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Rumors were flying yesterday (May 24) that the former couple split over the phone, but Demi maintains that that isn’t the case at all. “Joe and I did split, but it wasn’t over the phone,” Demi tweeted. “Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends.” Joe also shared the sentiment: “It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.”

Demi Lovato: This is My First Relationship

Demi Lovato has been linked to Metro Station singer Trace Cyrus before, but she says her current relationship with Joe Jonas is her first serious relationship. Joe and Demi, nicknamed Jemi by fans, met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007, but Demi was still nervous about letting the world know about her new relationship.

“It was not only scary coming out to the public eye, but also the people who we work with, the people who are going to be on tour with us all summer, who are obviously nervous – because you never know what can happen,” says Demi. “But, I think ultimately, everyone who knows us knows that we’ll always be best friends, no matter what happens.”

Demi also thanks fans for their support:

“There’s been so many times where if it wasn’t for our fans, I don’t know if we’d be together, because they’ve opened up my eyes to seeing – because I thought I was the only one who had a crush. And then I would see Jemi videos online, and feel like, ‘Oh my gosh! Maybe there is something.’”

Jemi Looking Forward to Touring Together

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are set to hit the road to promote their upcoming Disney movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. The couple will also be joined by the rest of the cast and Joe’s brother, Nick and Kevin Jonas, on the Camp Rock 2: The Concert Tour.

“I’m fortunate that I get to work with the person that I’m in the relationship with,” says Demi. “Rather than being across the country and texting him, I can have him hold my hand when I’m tired.” Joe agrees: “It’s going to be really exciting. Touring with Demi is going to be a lot of fun.”

Sounds like a great move for Joe and Demi!
