Heather is best known for her role as Brittany on “Glee,” but she has also danced and acted in numerous music videos, concerts and films.
Heather auditioned for “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 2 in 2006, but only made it as far as Vegas week (eliminate Heather?? They must be CRAZY!).
Heather earned her big break in 2007 when she landed the role of one of Beyonce‘s backup dancers! Heather stayed around long enough to work on Beyonce’s world-famous “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” before heading to claim her title as Brittany.
Heather Morris has gone from being a backup dancer for Beyonce to being a ditzy yet lovable dance star on Glee. But there is so much more to this girl than the roles she has played in the past- she’s smart, sassy, sweet, and strong. Check out the six secrets she shared with Seventeen Magazine- from her high school boyfriend to her experience dancing with Beyonce.
1. Her Single Ladies Experience
“I had a serious boyfriend in high school, but we would take breaks in between. You shouldn’t always have a boyfriend!”
2. Fashion Makeovers 24/7
“I go through different phases and change my mind about my style all the time. In the winter, I wanted to wear jeans and pumps and black and leather all the time. Right now, I want to wear long skirts and belts, with my hair in a ponytail. It changes all the time!”
3. Touring with Beyonce Deets
“There were ten dancers — four guys and six girls — including me, on the Beyonce tour. Sometimes we would go out with her, to events. She was really normal — just like everybody else!”
4. Dressed Down Diva
“I didn’t like to dress up in high school. I wore pajamas all the time. Or I would have my hair in a high bun from dance, and just wear dance clothes.”
5. Dancing for Herself And Nobody Else
“Dancing was my sport when I was younger. So I chose that over everything. And then, I just had to keep going because it became a competitive thing. But I’m not trying to impress anyone anymore. Dancing is more like my art, now.”
6. Boyfriend Material
“My boyfriend and I knew of each other in high school, but we didn’t know each other. He was a year younger than I was, so after I moved, he messaged me on MySpace, asking ‘When you come back, do you want to hang out?’ and I was like, ‘You’re so cute, I’d love to!’”
To hold us over until the season premiere of “Glee” in 28 days, the video of them dancing and singing to David Bowie’s “Fashion” is exactly what we needed!
The campaign is to promote Fashion’s Night Out, an event aimed at getting people to go out and shop!
We love our favorite mean queen, Sue Sylvester a.k.a Jane Lynch, all dolled up and ready to blast her obnoxious comments through her megaphone.
While it may seem that the Glee stars have always been experts on what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to fashion, Chris Colfer reveals that that was not always the case. He actually attributes his amazing style to Glee. “When ‘Glee’ started, I had no idea who Marc Jacobs was. In no way was I a fashion person! I did all my shopping at my small-town Target. Maybe if I dressed better I wouldn’t have had such a hard time in school,” reveals Chris.
Looks like Glee has helped even its own stars branch out and try something they never would have tried before!

Glee, the hit musical show on FOX, teaches you about life. How to deal with school, how to balance extracurriculars with classes, and how to be yourself despite the odds. One of the best examples of this is Brittany, the proverbially dumb cheerleader who is absolutely lovable.
Actress Heather Morris, and her gift to deliver one-liner pearls of wisdom, keeps Glee feeling light, and a little goofy.
Here are our top five favorite Brittany-isms this season:
5. There are so many lyrics. (Laryngitis)
4. A happy meal, no onions. Or a chicken. (Theatricality)
3. Sometimes I forget my middle name. (Hell-O)
2. I just don’t understand anything. (Throwdown)
1. I’m pretty sure my cat’s been reading my diary. (Home)
