That’s right Sweetys! Today is Random Act of Kindness Day and people are celebrating all over the country!
This morning, Ryan Seacrest bought coffee for every customer at a local Starbucks before heading over to a grocery store to pick up the tab there as well.
While Ryan’s actions may be right on form, there are other ways to practice RAOK day on a much kinder budget.
Celebrate today by helping your younger sibling with their homework, offering to help out around the house for your parents, baking cookies for your fav teacher, or making a friendship bracelet for your BFF.
No matter how you celebrate, your random act of kindness will make the world a much better place today Sweetys!
We know how generous you all already are – now we can’t wait to hear about it!

Great news Sweetys! Today is National Frozen Yogurt Day!
Frozen Yogurt is a great healthier dessert alternative to ice cream (however, that doesn’t mean you should replace your vegetables with frozen yogurt!).
Frozen Yogurt shops are celebrating all over the US today with different promotions and offers.
YogurtLand is offering FREE yogurt today from 4pm-7pm! Customers will receive a free 5-ounce commemorative cup of frozen yogurt and free toppings.
Call your local frozen yogurt stores to see if they are also offering any special Frozen Yogurt Day promotions!

For those of you who are winter lovers we have good news: Punxsutawney Phil has officially claimed that there will be 6 more weeks of winter!
The little groundhog saw his shadow this morning and in good American tradition, this means winter is far from over.
If you are not a fan of winter, don’t be too dissapointed. Yahoo news this morning posted that “an analysis by the National Climatic Data Center found there is no correlation between Phil’s predictions and the actual weather.” Still we’re not complaining – it’s a terribly fun tradition and Phil is way cute.
Check out Phil’s Twitter page for some good laughs (our personal favorite: “All eyes are on me right now, and I’m mad with power!”)

Switch personalities with your BFF and be each other for the day!
Part your hair on the opposite side, wear your jacket backwards and write in your journal upside-down!
Eat breakfast for dinner and dinner for lunch!
Let us know what other great ideas you have for opposite day! Then sign in to Sweety High and post pictures and videos of the silly things you did today to celebrate!!
Okay, so we know that the holidays are still a ways off…it’s not even Halloween yet! But it’s never too early to plan ahead, and we know what we’re asking for this December: Justin Bieber! It looks like everyone is going to be able to bring JB home for the holidays this year, because Justin Bieber is hitting the stores…in doll form. (Move over, Ken!)
Billboard gives us all the details:
“Slated to hit mass retailers ‘on or around’ Dec. 4, the Bieber toy line will feature Justin Bieber Music Video Collection Singing Figures that play 30-second clips from his songs ‘Baby’ and ‘One Less Lonely Girl.’ The dolls are also dressed in the singer’s signature looks from those music videos, from a leather jacket and microphone to a green hoodie and guitar.”

Last Thursday was Earth Day and, while it’s great that we have one day every year dedicated to environmental awareness, there’s always more that can be done. Interested in finding easy things to do to help your world? Here are ten easy ways to celebrate the earth, year round:
1. Skip the bottled water. Drink tap water instead.
2. Ask your family to eat locally once per week.
3. Bring your lunch to school in reusable containers. Take silverware, instead of plastic forks and knives, instead.
4. When you leave a room, turn off the light. Ask your family to do the same.
5. Once a month, ask your parents if you can air dry your clothes. Your drying machine uses quite a lot of energy, and you would be surprised by how fresh your clothes will smell after having been hung out in the open air!
6. Ask your parents to organize a carpool to school. See if you can’t convince them to pick up your besties at least once per week.
7. Volunteer for eco-friendly events organized by your school. You might help pick up trash at the park, or clean up the nearby beach.
8. Recycle – at school, at home, at the library.
9. Print your assignments on both sides of the paper.
10. Find more ways to help here.
What other suggestions do you have to be environmentally friendly?
