If you didn’t already know, the talented Taylor Swift has recorded not one but TWO songs for ‘The Hunger Games‘ soundtrack.
The first song she recorded for the soundtrack was ‘Safe & Sound‘ – this song was a collaboration with The Civil Wars and has already had a music video released!
The second song she recorded for the album is called ‘Eyes Wide Open‘.
With ‘The Hunger Games’ being finally released this week, Taylor was able to perform the new song!
She performed this song for the first time at one of her last stops on the tour in New Zealand!

The script for “Catching Fire” is almost completely written already and is expected to release in theaters on November 22, 2013!!
As far as sequels go this is pretty fast turn around and we are not complaining!
The script writer, Simon Beaufoy, said this about the on-screen adaptation:
“Things always do have to change otherwise there’s always something very flat about very faithful adaptations. But on the other hand, there’s an extremely loyal fan base and readership and you just have to be careful of how many liberties you do take. So fortunately Suzanne [Hunger Games author] is here to help me. She’s reading this draft at the moment and she’ll tell me, ‘You can’t do that. You must do this.’ Because there are some things that are sacrosanct to her readers and she knows them very well and she’ll let me know.”
We are so relieved to hear that Suzanne Collins is working with the script writer to ensure consistency with the books.
We are counting down the days (17!) until the first movie releases and are so happy to hear that the second one won’t be far behind!
The “Hunger Games” cast has just released a short promo to help end world hunger.
