Miranda Cosgrove Surprises Fan At Hospital

Miranda Cosgrove made a 7-year-old’s dream come true when she performed a private concert for the girl.

Carrie, an inpatient at a Chicago hospital, is a huge iCarly fan, and her mom decided to write the producers on her behalf to try and arrange a meeting between the two. Plans were set in motion, and Carrie was invited to Miranda’s concert, but due to her health, she wasn’t able to leave the grounds. When the 17-year-old actress got the news, she took matters into her own hands and showed up at the hospital and played a special set for her special fan. She tweeted about the experience:

Met an incredible little girl earlier today and put on a mini concert for her with some of my band mates. Its the little things that count.”

Miranda Cosgrove : “I’m Ready To Take That Leap”

We love Miranda Cosgrove as the title character in Nickelodeon’s iCarly. In a recent interview with MARKTBeauty.com, she talked about the actress she most admires and her plans post-iCarly:

“I’d like to have a career like Anne Hathaway. I’ve been following her career since I was really young—I remember watching The Princess Diaries with my friends—and I really respect the movies she’s in now, too. I love making iCarly, but I’m ready to do something more mature. I’m ready to take that leap.”

…We think Miranda would be great in any role!

Miranda Cosgrove Has Got A Full Plate And An Appetite for Multi-Tasking

Miranda Cosgrove has been the face of Nickelodeon’s hit show, iCarly, since 2007, and now she’s on the threshold of a brand new career path. The actress is about to start her first tour, is planning on pursuing more big-screen opportunities, and is looking into colleges! The question of the hour is, where does this leave her role as TV’s loveable Carly Shay- the web-hostess with the mostest?

Miranda’s fans aren’t the only ones pondering the starlet’s future: “When we first started the show, I was just so excited to be on it, and I still am, but now that we’re getting older, I do wonder what the show will be like in the future.”

Don’t worry though, it seems like Miranda will be hanging out for a while longer:– “Really, I love making iCarly. I wouldn’t mind making it for a long time.”

Miranda Cosgrove Joins The League Of Celebrities Arrested For The Sake Of TV

Miranda Cosgrove is starring alongside Julianna Marguiles and Matt Czuchry in an episode of “The Good Wife”. The iCarly starlet is leaving behind her good girl persona to play Sloan, a troubled pop star who was arrested for a DUI charge. Sounds reminiscent of a certain Justin Bieber turned CSI bad boy Jason McCann.

The shows executive producer had this to say on Miranda’s guest spot: “We’re big iCarly fans, so we really couldn’t think of anyone better for this role…We were thrilled when she agreed to do it. It’ll be fun to see her handle both the comedy and drama in the role, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll play across from Julianna.”

Miranda Cosgrove Likes Her iCarly Room More Than Her Real Room

Miranda Cosgrove‘s iCarly’s most recent episode was named “iGot a Hot Room,” and the Nickelodeon actress now says she even prefers her iCarly room to her real room!

“I wish I had a trampoline in front of my bed and a gummy bear chandelier! My real room just isn’t doing it for me anymore‚” Miranda tweeted.

Miranda’s iCarly room is pretty SWEET (no pun intended), and we can see why she would love escaping to it!

Check out some photos of Miranda’s iCarly room here.

Miranda Cosgrove: It’s Been Cool to See the iCarly Characters Grow Up

Miranda Cosgrove is the queen of Nickelodeon with her popular show iCarly right now, and the show still has no end in sight! The 17-year-old recently reflected on the journey she’s taken with the show.

“I’ve thought about it before because we started the show when we’re 13, 14 years old and now we’re 17,” says Miranda. “But this season the writers really made the characters more mature. We’re having romances and doing things we would never have done in the first season. It’s cool because we’ve grown up on the show and our characters have, too.”

Still, Miranda has said she is planning to go to college, either at USC or NYU.

Are you an iCarly fan?
