According to DoSomething.org, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus were at the very top of Santa’s “nice” list!
Taylor was the youngest ever recipient of the John F. Kennedy Center’s Ripple of Hope Award for past charity work, and gave the biggest Country Hall of Fame Museum donation ever totaling a whopping $4 million! She’s also done a lot of work with pediatric cancer charities!
Miley was second on the list! She spent her recent birthday promoting a non-profit that helps find homes for dogs in shelters called Saving Spot! Rescue! She’s also a big proponent of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Save The Music Foundation, and the Starkey Hearing Foundation!
Miley Cyrus turned 20 years old last week on the day after Thanksgiving! Among her many fabulous gifts was a precious pet pig from PETA in honor of her work for animal rights!
“PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals,” said PETA’s Executive Vice President, Tracy Reiman.
The little rescue piggy is named Nora. We can’t wait to see some pics!
With Miley Cyrus‘s LOL finally coming out in the U.K. next week, Miley’s been doing a bunch of press, and she is super excited to see her costars rising to fame!
LOL is a super cute movie about juggling family relationships with romantic relationships, and education with a social life, and is a far departure from the times when Miley was a Disney Channel star.
I’ve heard so many claims that Miley has been trying to distance herself from her Disney past by venturing into more adult roles, but Miley claims it isn’t true!
“I hope they see me as someone who is maturing, not stepping away from my younger fans,” Miley said, “and picking roles that I can really relate to.”

This video of Miley singing Melanie Safka’s 1971 hit “Look What They’ve Done To My Song” really brings Miley back to her soulful country roots. Her voice sounds gorgeous and reminds us that singing is what really made her famous.
I hope she continues to sing these kinds of songs, instead of breaking away into different genres with her last couple of singles.

Miley turned some heads at a men’s trade show called Project New York, and it looked like she was interested in buying, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
According to sources, Miley spent her time at the show networking to find contacts for Liam, who is apparently making plans to create his own men’s fashion line.
