Justin Bieber recently announced on Twitter that is World Tour has been canceled. Fans across the globe are devastated and waiting to hear more regarding the cause of this announcement.
Of course, we at SweetyHigh.com have our own theories about the tour’s, ahem, cancellation. We knew this prankster couldn’t resist pulling a fast one on April 1.
“Hey guys just wanted to inform all of the fans first that I have resigned from working with justin and I will be deleting my twitter soon.” These are the so-called words of Justin Bieber‘s guitarist, Dan Kanter, that were posted to Twitter less than 1 hour ago.
Shortly after, Justin himself wrote, “you will be missed @dankanter .. but what you did was horrible. you will never be forgiven.”
So what happened between the two? Alfredo Flores, one of the creatives behind Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never, put the rumor mill to rest almost instantly when he sent out two back-to-back tweets.
“@dankanter don’t worry. I saw Justin tweet that from your phone. Everyone FALSE ALARM! LOL *as Dan fights Justin for his phone back*”
He followed up by saying, “The thing is if Justin asks “Can I see your phone” #JUSTSAYNO… Simple. That way you won’t get pranked… #Prankstercantgetme”
Dan Kanter didn’t have the last word though– “Got pranked by JB. Guess I should cancel those auditions for @davematthewsbnd @phish @metallica and @bobdylan.. and get #REVENGE”
…Sounds like JB has a sense of humor! Can’t wait to see what the boys have in store for their next prank war!
There’s no questioning that Justin Bieber is an international success, but The Biebs has shown us time and again that he has earned his spot on top. This week he showed up the music community by earning two of the five spots in billboard’s top 5 for both Never Say Never: The Remixes, and My World 2.0. The craziest thing about this, you ask?– This is the 2nd time Justin has achieved this! Billboard’s Director of Charts, Keith Caulfield, commented on Bieber’s music-win calling it a “very big deal.”
“Any way you look at it, it’s unusual,” said Caulfield. “It helps that you have four Bieber albums to choose from on the charts right now.”
Good news for Beliebers world wide- “Never Say Never” is going to be re-released with 40 minutes of bonus footage that is said to be more”fan-centric.” The film’s director, John Chu, opened up to Celebuzz and let viewers know what they can expect from the new cut.
“We included things like “Omaha Mall,” [Justin's song from when he visited] because it wouldn’t really fit in the movie, but it works in the fan cut because it was huge on the internet. There’s also things like fans coming to the premiere of the movie, they’re watching it that first weekend and we took cameras and filmed fans all round the country and we’re going to put it in the movie. So two weeks ago you went to the movie theater, you’re going to be in a movie this Friday!”
When asked what he would want to work on next, the star director said he’d love to do an episode of Glee.
Hmmm…I think we’d love that too! To find out what else you can expect from the extended fan version of Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never, click here.
It’s been a busy couple of days for Justin Bieber- Friday the pop sensation was named MVP for the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, Earlier today he bought an entire flower shop’s worth of flowers for his rumored gf, and to top it all off he chopped off his famous locks on set of his new music video. Justin claimed he just needed a ‘change’.
“I just wanted a kind of a change, I didn’t want to cut it all off, but I had had it for 3 1/2 years, I had just gotten sick of it, it was in my eyes, I didn’t want it in my face, I just wanted to change it up.”
