Selena Gomez doesn’t agree with the idea that “no press is bad press.”
The singer/actress has always tried to keep her personal life rather private, but when you are a huge star and dating Justin Bieber, a teen heartthrob, it’s hard to stay out of the spotlight.
Although Selena stays quiet about lots of personal things in her life, she says paparazzi and media are a part of the life she picked and she understands that. All the press and media coverage certainly isn’t hurting Ms. Gomez’s career! Just this year she hit the big screen in “Monte Carlo” and released her 3rd album, making the 19 year old quite the sensation!
Selena isn’t crazy about all the paparazzi all the time, but she also says she loves what she does and credits her friends, family, and fans for getting her where she is today.
Aww! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Selena!
The Queen of all things uniquely-pop, Lady Gaga, recently came to tears while performing in Portland. The Poker Face singer took to her imaginary podium to discuss her upcoming album, “Born This Way”.
“I promise to give you the greatest album this decade, just for you…Born This Way’ is a spirit, and it is this connection that we all share. It is something so much deeper than a wig or a lipstick or an outfit or a [expletive] meat dress. ‘Born This Way’ is about us, ‘Born This Way’ is about what keeps us up at night and makes us afraid.”
Gaga then followed up her tear jerking speech with an outstanding performance of “Telephone”, the collaboration she did with Beyonce– proving that it’s cool to cry!
Actress-turned-pop-star Miley Cyrus was involved in a heated confrontation with a photographer yesterday. The seventeen-year-old lost her cool outside of a Toluca Lake restaurant where she had breakfast with mom, Tish, and sister, Noah.
After growing increasingly annoyed by the paparazzo’s presence, the “Hannah Montana” star was photographed walking up to the female and saying something. After a heated conversation, the offender agreed to stop filming.
Twilight star Robert Pattinson values his privacy, but he’s lost some of that with his newfound fame. Poor Rob is constantly hounded by the paparazzi, and he says he’s now lost a big part of his life to the fame.
“I used to love playing live at open mics at bars,” he said. “You could go nuts and be completely free. It would be a cathartic experience for me‚ I’ve lost a huge chunk of my life.”

Greyson Chance recently transplanted from his home town of Edmond, OK to Sunny Southern California to begin recording his first album.
Greyson, the 12-year-old Prince of Piano, stole the hearts of every onlooker as he performed Lady Gaga‘s Paparazzi on The Ellen Degeneres Show– so much so that Ellen herself decided to sign him on as her first artist on her record label: ElevenEleven & Geffen Records.
He is currently living the LA lifestyle- between recording for his first album, and being nominated for the upcoming Teen Choice Award’s Best Web Star, Greyson is a very busy boy!
Greyson Chance, who many are calling the next Justin Bieber, has a record deal. The 12-year-old will be joining his idol Lady Gaga on Interscope Records.
Within the last week, Greyson’s YouTube channel has received over 17 million views and landed him a performance on “Ellen,” where he received a phone call from Lady Gaga herself.
“Greyson, you’re so sweet and so talented, and I was so excited that you covered ‘Paparazzi,’” Lady Gaga told him on-air. “Everyone loves you so much. Just keep following your dreams and work really hard, and stay away from girls and be focused.”
You might not have heard of Greyson Michael Chance, yet, but this Bieber-esque crooner is already making his mark. He has already logged over ten million views on his Youtube channel for his performances, including a piano virtuoso version of Gaga’s “Paparazzi.”
Chance originally performed the song for his middle school in Oklahoma. His hands fly across the keys and his voice hits every note pitch perfectly, all while making the song totally his own.
Do you think Chance has what it takes to be the next Justin Bieber?
