Variety’s Power of Youth initiative celebrates top young talent and their dedication to philanthropic and humanitarian causes closest to their hearts, while encouraging the industry and their fans around the world to get involved and give back.
The event, now in its fifth year, is an invitation-only afternoon full of fun and festivities, with live performances, interactive games, activities, food, photo opportunities, a list of the top under-25 actors, and a special presentation to our Honorees.
Nike is also hosting a Reuse-A-Shoe athletic shoe recycling drive where attendees are encouraged to participate. Each pair of worn-out athletic shoes – ANY BRAND – no metal, no mud – will be recycled by Nike into Nike Grind, which is used to build sports and play surfaces globally.
