Selena Gomez says that she makes careful career moves and that most important, she picks things that she’s passionate about. Sounds like a good career plan to us!
“I’m not just going to slap my name on something‚ I want to be really passionate about everything I do, so it’ all about timing,” says Selena. While she’s cautious in that sense, she also adds that she’s just a child at heart: “I’m 18, but I feel like I’m still 15. I feel very young at heart, and I still want to jump up and down on my bed singing and rocking out.”

Selena has previous said that her new music will feature some reggae sound and be “very techno. It’s very like old-school Britney stuff that I love.”
Selena Gomez is getting ready to release her second album with her band The Scene, and she reports that the first single of the new album will be premiering on June 18th. She also adds that she is currently shooting the music video for “Round and Round” in Budapest.
Selena posted an update on her Facebook to let fans know what she’s up to: “June 18th premiere of “Round and Round” the first single of the 2nd album will premiere on Radio Disney. June 20th premiere of the music video of “Round and Round” will on air Disney Channel (I am shooting that music video this weekend in Budapest). June 22nd “Round and Round” will be available for download on itunes. Our 2nd album (No titled yet) will be released on…….. September 28th!!!”
She’s also said that the new album will be more reggae.
