After nearly a year and a half of time away from the recording studio, Selena Gomez is back, and set to release an album in March 2013!
The news was announced yesterday by Ryan Seacrest via Twitter! Selena told Ryan the news while assisting in the opening of Seacrest Studios, at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, near Selena’s home town.
Selena’s last album, “When The Sun Goes Down,” was released last June. In the year and a half away from the studio, she’s been focusing on her acting in films including the recent animated film, “Hotel Transylvania!”

2013 is just around the corner. What better way to usher in the new year than an incredible performance by Taylor Swift?
Though Taylor hasn’t been mentioned yet by name, the new host of Times Square’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration, Ryan Seacrest, hinted heavily at the upcoming performance.
“We haven’t announced it yet, but … there’s a female artist out there that’s setting records in terms of what she’s selling, recently,” Ryan said.
To make sure there was no confusion, he continued. “She loves the color red. And if you’re with her, you may never, ever, ever, be back together with her. And she loves a good break-up anthem.”

Last night, American Idol debuted it’s 11th season by auditioning residents of Savannah, Georgia.
10,000 participants showed up to audition with the hopes of gaining fame and glory. The first one to walk through the doors left quite an impression quite a big impression for someone so young.
His name is David Leathers Jr., but he goes by “Mr. Steal-Your-Girl.” The seventeen-year-old (who looks more like he just celebrated his 12th birthday) sang “Never Can Say Goodbye” by the Jackson 5.
David admitted in a chat with Ryan Seacrest that he has competed with last season’s winner Scotty McCreery before he was famous – and won!! (McCreery came in a close second place)

We were huge fans of Demi Lovato from the start but something about her People’s Choice Awards performance made us even more obsessed!

The actress/singer broke the news on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest yesterday morning and also tweeted about the upcoming shows. Demi will be performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on September 17th and then at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on September 23rd.
Tickets for both events will go on sale August 25th if you’re a fan club member and August 26th if your not. If you are a fan, make sure to grab some tix!
Demi also said that the concerts are a way for her to thank fans for their constant support through everything she’s been through.
She will be performing new songs from her upcoming album “Unbroken,” which is set to release September 20th. It will be really great for Demi to perform, as she has been on a break from music for nearly one year!

Ryan Seacrest’s Instagram profile is mostly made up of pics of celebs that come to visit him at 102.7 KIIS FM everyday, including Glee stars Darren Criss (Blaine) and Cory Monteith (Finn), and the youngest of the Kardashian family, Kendall and Kylie.
