Taylor Swift Gets Punk’d By Justin Bieber!

Justin Bieber is taking over Ashton Kutcher’s role as prankmaster in the first episode of Punk’d.

The “Baby” singer who was originally rumored to be the permanent host of the show, will only be guest hosting for one episode.

He’ll be pranking one of his good friends, Taylor Swift. We wonder how the 17-year-old pop star pranked the country cutie. Was Selena Gomez in on the fun?

Seems like the two are pretty close since they are also rumored to be working on a song together.

After seeing the two sing “Baby” at Taylor Swift’s concert, fans have been begging for more collaborations between the two, and this new song might just be the next Hollywood hit!

Songwriter Kuk Harrell tweeted:

@taylorswift13 You and Justin Killed that writing last night!!! SMASH!!!!!!

Taylor Swift’s Adventures in House Shopping

Taylor Swift swaps houses like people trade Pokemon cards!

In 2009, Taylor bought a penthouse in downtown Nashville and then swapped it out for a 1.4 million dollar mini-mansion the next September.

A few months later, she bought a pricey new pad- a 3.5 million dollar house in Beverly Hills!

Now it looks like Taylor and her family are just moving right along to another house!

Reportedly, she and her family bought a large estate in Tennessee, all for only 2.5 million! The new house is 4 bedrooms, but it also has a separate 2 story pool house with it’s own bedroom and bathroom!

It must be nice to be a Top 40 singer!

Sweety High’s Detailed Account of Taylor Swift’s Concert

Taylor Swift’s concert in LA at the Staples Center last night was amazing!  It opened with Josh Kelley and Needtobreathe, who were both excellent, but people were really excited for Taylor Swift.

Everyone was wearing Taylor Swift’s Speak Now shirt and holding up light up and glittery signs with her name and lucky number thirteen. Then, Taylor Swift came out with a magical performance full of fireworks, dancers, and aerial acrobats.

Her songs and sets were stunning. Taylor Swift did a medley of Back to December, You’re Not Sorry, and Apologize.  She also sang other songs like Mine, Enchanted, Sparks Fly, Better Than Revenge, and Our Song.  She made each individual song amazing and it’s own story.

During Speak Now she had someone wearing a wedding dress about to get married.  She sang Speak Now and retrieved the groom at the end. Since he didn’t say yes, Taylor and the groom ran through the crowd and to a different part of the stage where there was a revolving white tree.  She sat on it and sang Fearless with a ukulele she bought in Hawaii. She also sang Fifteen, Last Kiss and then some covers.

She wrote “Don’t worry baby, everything will turn out alright,” on her arm from the Beach Boys’ song Don’t Worry Baby.  She shared that the Beach Boys are one of the main things that remind her of California.  She covered their song God Only Knows.  Then she said that when she thinks of California she also thinks of “this incredibly cool chick named Gwen Stefani” and proceeded to cover Sweet escape.  Both were incredible, but what really amazed the crowd was when they heard the “Oouu ouu ouu oo” from Just Bieber’s song Baby.

It could’ve been another cover, but then Taylor Swift brought out Justin Bieber and everyone was screaming.  They did a spectacular duet and my friend was shrieking “Oh my god, this is the closest I’ve ever been to Justin Bieber!!”  Everyone sang along and Justin Bieber picked Taylor up at the end and gave her a hug and spun her around before leaving the stage.

She ended the performance with Long Live, Enchanted, and then finally Love Song, where she stepped onto a balcony that floated up and above the crowd.  It was truly amazing!

Long live, Taylor Swift <13

Sweety High’s Exclusive Back to School Fall Fashion Tips

No matter how much we hate to admit it, the first day of school is right around the corner and it’s the perfect time to make a great first impression.

The first day of school is the time to show off your new tan, your new clothes, and a new you. On the first day of school, you want to impress with something a little better than any other every day outfit, but don’t go too over the top.

We’ve got the deets on the biggest trends of 2011:

1) Cropped vs. Oversized Tops: Go with lace and floral shirts and baggy and over-sized tops. Baggy or oversized tops tend to look better with skinny jeans and a pair of boots or sneakers like Converse or Vans. Crop tops, which were also a huge hit over summer, look super cute with a tank underneath and a pair of shorts.

2) The Skinny on Jeans: Skinny jeans have been in for a while now, but we are also seeing flare jeans making a come back. If you want to wear a pair of flares, go for a cute, tight top. Wear something with a little more “shock value” than just a plain tank top or t-shirt though.

3) Taylor Swift Dresses: If you’re the girlier type, dresses can also look super cute for a back to school outfit. Pair it with a cute pair of summer-y flats and your all set.

Dress to impress but wear something that is very “you.” Don’t change your style or who you are just because of what’s popular. Tell us your back to school trends and lets make the 2011-2012 school year great!

Taylor Swift Says Emma Stone and Selena Gomez Are Like Sisters

Taylor Swift, who’s currently on her Speak Now Tour and was just awarded six surfboard trophies at the Teen Choice awards, is thankful to have such amazing friends.

She says that Emma Stone and Selena Gomez are like sisters to her. To clarify how they are like sisters to her, Taylor said: “They can predict my thoughts; I’ve known them for so long it’s really cool to have friends that are that close.” We’re glad Taylor Swift has such close friends!

Taylor’s Speak Now tour is also going well and she has released her new song and music video “Sparks Fly”, which shows footage from her tour.

She also opened up about why she writes lyrics on her arm during her shows, saying: “It’s kind of like a mood ring: it’s what I’m listening to at the moment, or what I’m feeling at the moment, or whatever lyric I’m relating to at the moment.”

Maybe we should start writing lyrics on our arms too!

Taylor Swift Wears Her Heart on Her Sleeve

In addition to the customary lucky “13” written on her hand for every performance, new ink has been spotted on Taylor Swift during her sold out Speak Now Tour. On each stop, concert-goers have been wondering what the scrawling words written along Taylor’s left arm mean.

No, they aren’t there in case she forgets the lyrics of one of her chart-topping hits, but they are someone’s lyrics! They are the lyrics of other artists from songs that inspire her, and most of the time, the lyrics have some connection to the location of that particular tour stop.

On the opening night of the tour, Taylor paid tribute to her BFF Selena Gomez by writing “You’ve got every right to a beautiful life,” lyrics from the hit summer smash “Who Says” along her arm.

On July 11th in Detroit, Michigan, Taylor paid tribute to Detroit native Eminem when she wrote “You better lose yourself in the music”, lyrics from Em’s hit song Lose Yourself.

On June 12th, Swift sang in front of her parents in her current hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The Sugarland lyrics she wrote on her arm seemed to dedicated to her parents in the audience when she wrote “Remember me in ribbons and curls, love your baby girl” from the song Baby Girl.

When Swift performed in her home state, Pennsylvania, on June 18th, the Montgomery Gentry lyrics from the song My Town she used were dedicated to her childhood: “Where I was born, Where I was raised, Where I keep all my yesterdays”.

Taylor has also written lyrics on her arm by Faith Hill, Jimmy Eats World, U2, Kenny Chesney, Gavin Degraw, Mandy Moore and others.

I think it is really sweet that Taylor is giving us an inside look into her thoughts and emotions as she travels around the country on tour. Taylor does a great job connecting with her audiences and this is yet another example of how she is so relatable to all of her fans!

Keep it up Tay, we can’t wait to see what you write on your next stop!
