Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen has taken some criticism for her edgy punk style, but she says she doesn’t consider it a big deal and doesn’t even think much about what she wears.
“I don’t really think that much about it. I kind of just dress in whatever makes me feel comfortable,” says Taylor. “I like a lot of leather, I like a lot of dresses. I guess it’s been known to be provocative. But it’s not for any other purpose than I dress for myself, and I do myself up kind of like a doll. I have a doll collection and I look at their outfits and kind of imitate them.”
Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen has said that she hates being compared to Disney star Miley Cyrus. She also suggests that the comparison has most likely only been made because both are teenage actresses and singers.
“I’m not looking to be Miley Cyrus,” said Taylor. “I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music‚ I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly.”
Ironically, Taylor was once up for the role of Hannah Montana that’s made Miley the superstar she is today!
…We Love both of these girls equally–for their similarities, but even more so for their differences!
