Introducing Damian McGinty: His character Rory is a foreign exchange student from Ireland and during the episode, he sings two songs: ‘Bein’ Green’ and ‘Take Care of Yourself.’ In the episode, Brittany totally thinks that Rory is a leprechaun and the convos between the two are hilar!
Puck, Quinn, and baby Beth: While Quinn is on a major quest to get her baby back, Puck wants what is best for Beth and so he tries to counteract all of Quinn’s evil attempts to sabotage Shelby. Puck warms up to Shelby by sing Beth a super sweet version of “Waiting for a Girl Like You.” What’s makes everything even more scandalous is at the end of the episode the two kiss!
Brittany and Santana Glee’s “It” Couple? The two go out to dinner at Breadsticks, where Santana asks Brittany if they are on a date. “Isn’t this a date?” Brittany responds. “Aren’t you paying? Because I ordered shrimp.” We totally LOL’d at that!
Blaine Shines, Yet Again: Blaine sings Katy Perry’s song, ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),’ with the New Directions and gets everyone all excited once again!
Damien went on to win the competition with Samuel Larsen and now news of his appearance on Glee is being revealed to the public. Damien character will be debuted November 1st when Glee returns to TV. He will be playing a foreign exchange student and the episode is called “Pot O’ Gold,” so we know he’ll be repping his Irish roots.
Check out Fox’s synopsis for “Pot O’ Gold”: ”A new foreign exchange student, Rory Flanagan (guest star Damian McGinty, winner of “The Glee Project”), enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) who thinks he’s a leprechaun. Meanwhile, Mercedes (Amber Riley) attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran’s (guest star Idina Menzel) newly formed glee club, and Sue’s (Jane Lynch) congressional campaign heats up.”
Through all this Cameron has been right by Damien’s side supporting him! We love how the two have continued being friends and this pic of the two of them from his twitter is totally adorbs.
Last night, we watched as both Samuel and Damien won The Glee Project! Ryan Murphy gave the deets about how the two of them would get 7 episodes each and that Alex and Lindsay, the runner-ups, would each get 2!
The finale was everything we could possible want in an episode, after all, Cameron Mitchell and the rest of the cast came back to do the last music video with the final four contenders!
Can we talk about how cute Cameron was looking? If he didn’t give up his spot to Damien, he could have been one of the two winners!
The Glee Project has gained a big fan following so it comes as no surprise that the show has been renewed!
We hear that for the casting, they’ll be jumping from two spots for open calls to four or five. We also hear that there will be more cast members stopping by for the casting of the show. Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet participated in the casting last year and now more Glee stars are going to join in on the fun.
We can’t wait to get more details on Season 2! Can Cameron come back for the next season too?
In Sunday night’s episode, Cameron announced his withdrawal from the show after refusing to kiss a girl on camera. When asked to kiss a contestant to test his acting ability and chemistry on screen, Cameron told the judges that he did not feel comfortable kissing another girl on the show because it would be disloyal to his longtime girlfriend, Macie.
That’s so cute that he is so loyal to Macie, but we are so sad to see him leave the show.
He was one of our favorites and it is so sad to see that he no longer has a chance of making it onto Glee now.
Good luck with whatever your next adventure is, Cam!
If you watched the last season of Glee, you know that Mr. Schuester and Sue Sylvester are no longer enemies!
Who’s Sue going to torment now? Glee executive producer, Ryan Murphy, has got the answer!
“The winner of The Glee Project is the person who she hates the most in the history of the show,” revealed Murphy exclusively to TVGuide.com.
Looks like Sue will have a lot on her plate next season! Not only will she get a new arch nemisis, but TVGuide.com is also reporting that she gets a new love interest and is also running for Congress!
Murphy had the following to say about the winner of the show:
“The person that won, for me, the reason why I chose them was because they had the exact same thing that Lea Michele has, that Chris Colfer has, that Darren Criss has, which is they are a star and I want to write for them,” said Murphy.
He continued to say, “They just inspired me and they inspired the rest of the regulars of the Glee cast, many of whom were mentors during the show. I would go to them and I would say, ‘Help me cast this. What do you guys think?’”
Ryan Murphy also says that the winner was totally unexpected! “The person that we chose is not who I think everybody thinks it is,” Murphy says. “The person that won was not the person I thought would win going in.”
We are going crazy trying to figure out who the arch nemesis will be!
Could it be feisty Emily or rocker Samuel?
Tell us who you think is going to be the winner of ‘The Glee Project,’ and Sue Sylvester’s new arch nemesis!
