One Direction has swept the music charts and brought their debut album to number one.
Now the mega boy band has new goals in sight: a book deal.
Harper Collins Children’s Books will be releasing ‘Dare to Dream: Life as One Direction‘ on May 22 – two days before the band’s U.S. tour.
The book will feature interviews with the band and give the story of their rise to fame.
Even with the book not yet released, there is already a sequel in motion! The sequel has a release date of September 2013.

Thank goodness the rumors are true!
One Direction has landed their own show with Nickelodeon!
Nickelodeon confirmed via Twitter that the show will be produced, but left much of the details to our imagination.
Here is all they had to say on the subject:
“The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!”
We are so happy for the boys (okay, so we’re a little happy for us too!) and we can’t wait to learn more about this project!!
British boy band One Direction has been set to perform at Nickelodeon‘s Kids Choice Awards!
The group will be performing their single “What Makes You Beautiful.”
So far, 1D is the only performer that has been announced to be performing but we are sure that there are many more great artists secretly on the list!

In Sydney, Australia, a large group of One Direction fans pulled off a giant flash mob!
The group danced to songs by One Direction and opened up the number with a short acapella song!
The Flash Mob was very well coordinated and thoroughly planned out, and their hard work payed off in the end!
