David Henrie (‘Wizards of Waverly Place‘) just signed on to join the cast of ‘Grown Ups 2‘.
Earlier this week, Taylor Lautner also joined the cast, and we now know a little more about each of their character.
The boys will be fraternity brothers who go head-to-head with Adam Sandler and co. in a number of competitions.
We think David and Taylor will make a great pair and we can’t wait to see how the movie plays out!
The voting contest to decide Selena Gomez‘s new signature fragrance is over and the results have been released!
Selena announced the final results in the following message: “Hi guys! Thank you so much for participating in helping me create my new fragrance! You have picked raspberry as my top note, purple freesia as my heart note, and vanilla as my base note. I am very excited to share this new perfume with each and every one of you.”
Selena will be flying 10 incredibly lucky girls to New York to help her pick the final fragrance (how cool is that!?).
The fragrance will be available at Macy’s this May – better get in line girls!!
In this case, we couldn’t be prouder that Selena Gomez is a huge sell out – for her UNICEF concert that is!
The UNICEF ambassader is holding her second annual benefit concert to be held on January 20th at the House of Blues in Hollywood. Tickets were nabbed up like crazy as soon as they came out, packing the house for the show.
The concert will include surprise musical guests (BF Justin Bieber perhaps??) and will benefit children around the globe by bringing them clean water, medical supplies, education and food.
Selena was quoted saying, “Giving back has always been important to me. This concert allows me to connect with my fans in person which is one of the best parts of my job and to raise money for important causes at the same time. I can’t think of anything I would enjoy doing more.”
We all know Jake T. Austin from the hit Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place, but it looks like he’s ditching his wizardly role on TV and heading towards becoming an A-list movie actor.
He’s going to be starring in the romantic comedy New Year’s Eve, where he plays the love interest of Abigail Breslin. The soon to be 17-year old even shares his first on-screen kiss in the movie. Austin who previously acted in movies such as The Perfect Game and Disney’s RIO, will be showing off his acting chops in his lead role as Huckleberry Fin in the movie Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.

The cast and crew. Those people became like an extended family to me.
On playing pranks on set:
Sometimes Selena [Gomez] and I mess up our lines and, like family, we’ll always give each other a hard time when that happens. One time on set we played one of Selena’s songs right after she finished a scene just to embarrass her.
On his three favorite possessions:
My cell phone, my fitted Yankees cap and my basketball ball.
On a little unknown fact about him:
I once boxed with Manny Pacquiao (who was Boxer of the Decade)!
On playing the role of Fernando in RIO:
I really studied the Brazilian accent and tried to sound as Portuguese as possible. Getting to meet Jamie Foxx and will.i.am was really cool. They’re two people who have established amazing careers for themselves. I really look up to them.
On his role in New Years Eve:
His name is Seth and he has an adventure over the course of the night with Abigail Breslin’s character. Sarah Jessica Parker plays Abigail’s mom so she’s a part of our storyline as well.
On getting star-struck on the set of New Year’s Eve:
Not really, but Robert De Niro and Jon Bon Jovi are both people I was really excited to meet. I’m also a huge fan of Garry Marshall – he’s someone who’s created a lot of his own content which is something I aspire to do.
On filming Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn:
We’ve been filming in Bulgaria, so learning a new culture and getting to experience Eastern Europe while traveling to different parts of the country was really amazing. Huck and I both are adventurers and we both like to be outside, we’re always looking for something new to experience.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are the celebrity power couple of the year. Justin Bieber even recently posted a pic on Instagram of himself and the Disney starlet with 6 babies and the caption “Brangelina 2.0 hahahahahaha.”
But even power couples like to take a break from their fast-paced lives and go out on a fun date. The two were spotted on an afternoon date at the Los Angeles Zoo yesterday (September 21).
Selena Gomez was wearing one of the Biebz favorite polo shirts in a light purple. Justin was also sporting a polo so the two were looking super cute in their matching outfits.
The Wizards of Waverly Place star and the “Never Say Never” teen sensation enjoyed the beautiful wildlife together and seemed like they had a lot of fun!
It’s great that Justin took some time from his busy schedule to hang out with Selena. He has been working nonstop on the release of his Christmas album that he claims will shock his fans and we’re glad to see him take some time off to relax!
Bieber recently tweeted, “doubt me…i like it that way…makes me work harder…just makes me want to prove you wrong. every step ive been doubted. why change now?” He isn’t letting anything get in his way and we can’t wait to see the magic he brings to life in this next album.

Cody Simpson takes number two with an amazing plank display! The Australian singer looked so cute planking across a car with some friends!
And the top planker is…Justin Bieber! The Biebs has shown an award winning planking ability throughout the years, even posting a pic back in 2008 of himself planking. From stone posts to office desks, Justin really has mastered the skill of planking!
We all know Selena Gomez is a triplet threat. She’s an amazing actress on Wizards of Waverly Place, is an all-star singer, and now is our favorite fashion designer.

On Saturday tons of tweens and teens lined up at Kmart’s Norridge store for a chance to see the pretty starlet.
Selena was promoting her Dream Out Loud clothing line and her fans jumped at the chance to get to meet the tween queen.
The first 100 fans got the chance to meet Selena Gomez and received a poster signed by her. While the rest of the fans didn’t get to meet Selena, they did get to stand in the aisles and get a glimpse of the Disney star. They were also given unsigned posters and coupons for items in the collection.
So what goes through Selena Gomez’s head when she sees the crowds of fans waiting to meet her? “It’s definitely an adrenaline rush. I never quite expect to see this many people, and it’s just so nice.”

Shake It Up star Bella Thorne is on the cover of the most recent Seventeen magazine! She looks so glamorous and mature in the photo shoot inside!
Bella also spilled about her celeb crushes and her character Cece in a recent interview with TVology. Bella said that her top two celeb crushes are Gregg Sulkin from Wizards of Waverly Place and vampire Ian Somerhalder from the Vampire Diaries.
When asked how she was similar to her Shake It Up character, Cece, Bella said that she and Cece are basically the same person! She said they are both super bubbly and outgoing and they both have more street smarts than book smarts. They also both share a passion for dance of course! Bella said the only difference between the two is that Cece has a younger brother and Bella has an older brother. That’s so cool that Cece gets to just be herself when she acts on Shake It Up!
Bella also confirmed that a Shake It Up movie is in the works and that they will probably begin working on it by the end of this year! I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures Cece and Rocky get into next in the Shake It Up Movie, and I also can’t wait to see the amazing dance moves they bring to the set!
