“This year, we decided to make a single to raise money for Comic Relief,” Louis Tomlinson says at the start of the video.
Zayn Malik explains, “Comic Relief is a British charity that do amazing work helping people all over Africa and in the U.K. living with really tough lives.”
“So instead of spending a load of money on a music video,” Harry Styles says, “we decided to make it ourselves while we’re on your and give the money we saved to Comic Relief.

Girl band Little Mix of X Factor fame did a fabulous performance of their new single “Change Your Life” Sunday night on the U.K.’s Dancing On Ice!
The track is off their debut album, DNA. You might know the band from their stint on the X Factor, or because Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards is dating One Direction’s Zayn Malik!
After their visit to Japan this week, the boys of One Direction have decided to broaden their cultural horizons!
They want to learn more about the countries they visit beforehand, as they experienced a bit of a culture shock while in Tokyo!
“Over the weekend they vowed to learn at least 20 of the most common words in the languages of the countries they’re visiting before they land there,” a source told British newspaper, the Sun.
The boys will use YouTube tutorials to do so. Hopefully it will help them bond better with their fans. What language do you think the boys should learn first?
It turns out that the boys don’t want much at all! “I’m not really looking for anything for Christmas,” Niall Horan said. “I think we all kind of agree… we’re all really looking forward to just going home and like spending Christmas with our family and friends.”
He summed up his ideal Christmas vacation as “Just chilling. General Chilling.”
The band’s Harry Styles wasn’t so quick to give up his chance at a Christmas gift.
“I just asked for pants,” Harry said. “If you’re on the road you always run out of pants and socks.”
But how does he run out of socks? Band member Zayn Malik was quick to answer.
“I can never be bothered like taking a big suitcase,” Zayn admitted. “I nick all the other boys’ clothes.”
